Muy bienvenidos to the National Community College Hispanic Council's (NCCHC's) web site. NCCHC was established as an affiliate council of the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) over twenty five years ago to prepare Hispanic leaders for America's community and technical colleges. NCCHC is the premier organization for Hispanic leadership development in community colleges and our mission is to increase the number of successful Hispanic leaders in America’s community colleges through leadership development.

Leadership development is a major issue across the nation in all sectors of our economy especially for community college faculty and staff because of the impending crisis in CEO/Executive level vacancies precipitated by the quickening pace of retirements. NCCHC is committed to delivering a quality leadership development experience that provides Hispanics in community colleges with an opportunity to continue their personal and professional growth.

As we enter our 25th year, it is rewarding to note that our membership has grown steadily, the annual Leadership Symposium is well established, the Leadership Fellows Program has been revitalized, and NCCHC continues to serve as a premier organization.

Today, the NCCHC Board is continuously engaged in evaluating new strategies to strengthen our operational infrastructure and regularly seeks ways to increase membership, revenues and resources, and to increase participation in the NCCHC Fellows Program and Leadership Symposium. We have been successful in developing new member services consistent with our mission and to recognize excellence.
